The listing that brings in the calls.
For a lot of small businesses, your Google Business Profile brings in more calls than your website does. Most of them are half-filled, unclaimed, or haven't been touched since they were set up. I fix that.
The map pack is the whole game for local search.
When someone searches for what you do near them, Google shows a map with three businesses on it before it shows any websites at all. That block is where most local customers stop looking. Getting into it starts with the listing, not the site.
Six things most listings get wrong.
I go through all of it, fix what's wrong, and leave you with a listing that actually represents the business.
Claim and verify
If your listing was never claimed, or someone else has it locked up from a previous owner or a marketing company that vanished, I get it back under your control first.
Categories and services
The single most under-used part of a profile. Wrong primary category or missing service list quietly costs you visibility for searches you should be winning.
Photos and posts
Listings with real, recent photos get more clicks than ones with none. I set up a simple system so it doesn't go stale again after I leave.
Hours, service areas, and NAP
Your name, address, and phone should read identically everywhere. Mismatches after a move or a number change are one of the most common things holding a listing back.
Review response setup
Google favors listings that respond to reviews, good and bad. I set you up with simple templates so you're not starting from a blank box every time.
Q&A and attributes
The small stuff, like whether you're wheelchair accessible or take walk-ins, that Google surfaces directly in the search result before someone even clicks through.
Want more reviews too, not just a better listing? Here's the reviews system I set up alongside this.
One piece of local SEO, not the whole thing.
A great listing with no reviews still loses to a decent listing with forty recent ones. And a great listing with a slow, confusing website still loses some of the people who click through. If you want the full picture, the main SEO page covers how all the pieces work together, and the West Covina SEO page goes deeper on the map pack specifically in this city.
Fixed price, quoted after I look at your listing.
Send me your business name and I'll check what's already there before quoting anything. Most listing cleanups are a one-time job. If yours needs ongoing attention, I'll say so and explain why.
Get a quoteCommon questions
Is this just a listing setup or does it cover reviews too?
This page is the listing itself: claiming it, filling it out correctly, and setting it up to convert clicks into calls. If you want ongoing help getting more reviews, that's a separate piece I also do. See the reviews page for that.
My listing already exists and looks fine. Do I still need this?
Probably not, or at least not much of it. I'll look at what's there first and tell you honestly if it's already solid. A lot of listings look fine at a glance and are missing categories or service areas that only show up once you dig in.
How long does it take to see a difference?
Listing fixes themselves can take effect within days to a couple weeks. Whether that moves you into the map pack depends on competition and your review situation too, which is why I look at the whole picture before quoting anything.
Do I need a website for this to matter?
No. The listing works on its own and for a lot of local businesses it brings in more calls than the website does. If you don't have a site yet, this is often the better place to start.
What does this cost?
I quote a fixed price after looking at your current listing. Most cleanups are a one-time job, not a monthly retainer, and I'll tell you plainly if that's the case for your listing.
